Disneyland or bust

Our family just got back from a wonderful vacation to Disneyland. I know, I know, you all thought we would never go to Disneyland, but we have found that it is just way cool. I didn't take too many pictures; as I was reviewing the photos that I did take, I noticed a lot of airport shots. That just means that we were having way too much fun at Disneyland to take time out to snap a photo!!! It was really fun to be there. And the boys were actually good boys.

We went with my friend Nicole's family and we had a total of 5 kids under the age of 5 (including Ben's future wife Addy), and 7 adults. So the adults outnumbered the kids, which helped some. Some people might call us crazy, but it was fun.

Benjamin had a total blast. In fact, I was a little worried because he is timid about a lot of things, but he wanted to keep going on the rides. He was really a trooper. Matthew enjoyed just watching everything; he kept looking and looking, and on the rides that were vivid, like the Winnie the Pooh ride, his jaw about touched the floor. He just ate it up. Of course, it was nice that he slept a lot also. There were a lot of pictures taken by the professionals there where he was asleep. Oh well, there is some proof that he was there, even if he doesn't remember it.

I got to enjoy the bigger rides this time. (The last time we went I was pregnant with Matthew.) I went on California Screaming 3 times, Space Mountain 2 times, and Splash Mountain 2 times. I also got to enjoy Indian Jones, which was really a fun ride. I did not try the Tower of Terror, though. I just don't think I can handle the drops. And mom, Chad actually got sick this time on California Screaming (the giant roller coaster), so he has some sympathy for you.

Overall it was a fun trip where we enjoyed beautiful temperatures and came home to snow. (Most of it has melted from our yard!) I am so glad that we went.
