Start of Day 2.
Do you see how much we got done in one day? Well, we could not have done nearly that much without the help of Matt. In fact, we would still be putting it together today, but instead we are taking it easy. He was just plain awesome for coming over and helping us out. The instructions list all the tools you need and the last one is an "adult helper". I say that you need one adult helper and one person reading the instructions so that you don't have too many delays and two boys running to get the lumber for the next step.
End of Day 2.
Let me just say that Matthew has no fear whatsoever. He goes up and down the stairs and takes running leaps into the swings. (There was a "baby" swing that we could have also put up that had holes for the legs and then you had a belt in back, but that was not good enough for Matthew. Oh no, he needed the swing just like Ben had.) Ben is climbing up the rock wall like he has been doing it forever. In fact, now that it is all put together, we're wishing we had turned it so the slide faces the house and then we could see the rock wall and ladder much easier from the deck. Oh well, we will just have to be extra vigilant for a while.
