Very First Attempt

Ok, so I decided to try this because my sister Kate said it was really easy to do. So here goes. I'll try to chronicle the lives of my boys as they grow up, mainly because their grandmother is away on a mission in a far, far away country for another year or so and won't see their progress. This way she can see exactly what I get to see day in and out. I'll also add some pithy comments because that is my wondersful sense of humor showing through. I'll also add some video because what good is it if you can't share it.

Here's some footage of Matthew crawling, in the early stages of course.

He really is becoming quite good at it. It reminds me of when Kate was actually crawling, or should I say scooting. He does a half crawl/half scoot. I don't know where he picked it up from. Now he likes to go on crawl abouts and I have to go searching for him. He likes to follow his brother around, which is not always what Benjamin wants. I'm just glad he is more mobile. It makes it that much easier for me.

Way cute, Beth! Welcome to the blogging world. You will see that it is very addicting! :) But in a good way.
Matthew is such a cutie. I am so happy that we can finally see video of him!
He must be a pretty cool kid if he crawls like his Aunt Kate!

Yes, he is way cute. In fact, everytime he would crawl to the kitchen, he would go straight to the cat's water bowl and play in it. Needless to say we moved the bowl to the landing. I don't think he'll get in it there!!!

Ahh...another cute crawler. What is it about our family and our nontraditional crawling practices? :) So very cute!

I guess that you just crawl however you can, and hey, as long as you can get from point A to point B, what does it matter? But I definitely like to put more lotion on that leg!

I thought the water bowl was for the kid!!! I thought that was a great idea, since it's so important to stay hydrated! But now you tell us it's for the cat. Oh well.

Well...that would be very convenient, but I just don't know how sanitary it would be. And can you just see Matthew pusing the cats out of the way to get some water? I don't even want to go there.
