All about ebay

I am not a person who would normally get on ebay and then buy something, but I'm afraid that my fear of shopping, or maybe the fear is just taking the boys shopping with me, has made me take drastic measures. Today, I got online and looked up my favorite pair of jeans. I bought this pair when Macy's was going out of business here in town. So I got a smoking, hot deal on them. And they are so comfortable I want to wear them all the time. Yes, even in the summer I want to wear them because I like the fit, and cut, and the way they look on me...Anyway, I got online, and was looking up these jeans, and if I bought them direct from Ralph Lauren, I would be paying over $70, but I found a site that sells items, and there were some cute pants that are close to what I have now, and only had 30 minutes left on the bidding, and the minimum bid was $6.99. (As many of you know, I don't like to pay more than $5 for anything. That's probably why I have such a boring wardrobe!) So, I am sitting on the edge of my chair, going back and forth even as I type this, to see if I won the bid. And guess what...I did! I feel like I won the lottery. Shopping that way was not bad at all. And my jeans will be sent to me in the next couple of days. And I didn't have to go try on jeans with two boys hanging on me. Who can beat that?

Wow, Beth, welcome to the world of online shopping! Before you know it you'll be up at 3 am checking to see if you've won any of the 8 different auctions you are involved in. You're on your way to being hooked! ;)

BTW, I bought the best pair of pants for Matt that actually fit him on Ebay. So, I'm already a believer. Hey, wherever you can get the good deal, that's where you need to go.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens when they get here. They may not be what I want, or I may be begging for ten more pairs of them. And if they fit...well, that just beats trying the clothes on in a tiny dressing room, hopping from one foot to the other while you step on your shoes so your feet don't have to touch the floor...or am I the only one that does that? See why I hate shopping!!

ummmm, I don't do it... but then again, I DON'T try on my clothes first. Then they ride around in a bag in my car for months, and I can't return them cause they've been in the car too long.... hummm, sounds like I should really rethink not trying on clothes....

See, I hate shopping so bad that I want to spend the least amount of time in a store, so that is why I will go through the stepping on my shoes routine. I don't want to have to come back unless absolutely necessary. I wonder why mom didn't pass on her shopping genes to me. I think she would have enjoyed it a lot more if I would have gone shopping with her more!!!
