Momma's lil' helper

I just love when Benjamin wants to help. And he really wanted to help me last week when I made some more bread. Here's some pictures of the process. Of course, I forgot to take after shots, but oh well, just know that they looked really good and tasted even better!!

Punching the dough down. This is his favorite job.

Here he is rolling the dough out, I just have to keep turning the dough so it gets rolled evenly.

I am really glad that he is a good helper. He is such a thoughtful, helpful big boy. I still can't believe that he is 3 1/2. It seems like just yesterday when I was bringing him home from the hospital. I guess we all have to grow up sometime, right.

Oh, my goodness. So is that his own apron? It is adorable. I think it is good that you let him help you, and that it turns out well when he does. Maybe some day he'll be a world famous pastry chef. :)

It's actually my apron, which I folded and then tied. I've been seriously thinking about getting him his own. And if he wants to be a pastry chef, then more power to him. I hope I just don't have to sample all of his creations. I'll have to start working out 6 hours a day!!!!
