Meet Marie

Or is it Gwen???

Marie is number 5 in my family

Which makes her the number 4 sister

Marie's actual name is Gwen Marie

For a long time she went by Gwen

Then she decided to go by her middle name Marie

That was around junior high school age

And she would get mad when any of us called her Gwen

Now she is going by Gwen

And it is really, really, really hard for me to call her Gwen

So, she will always just be Marie to me

And she will just have to deal with it

Marie is a free spirit

Her motto is "It's my life"

She likes to give the impression that she doesn't have a care in the world

But I know different

Marie is very loving

She is tenderhearted

She cares a lot about others

She would do anything to help anyone out

She is very good with babies

I really don't understand that

To me, other babies are cute and all....

But I would rather be around my own children

And sometimes, even then...well, you know what I mean

Not Marie, she will just pick them up

And give any lovin' that is needed

Marie has had some struggles in life

But she seems to overcome them with time

Marie is a survivor

She has a lot of inner strength

She is courageous

Marie is an amazing woman

I'm glad she is my sister

I love you, older sis
