Sisters, part 4

Meet Pam
Pam is number 9
Pam is one half of twins
Pam used to have THE curliest red hair you ever did see
In fact, we thought she looked like lil' orphan Annie
In a cute way
I was very envious of that curly, red hair
Pam didn't always like to be a twin
I think she wanted her very own identity
That is something I can totally understand
When she was younger, Pam loved to do outdoorsy things with dad
Like hunting...
And shooting...
And fishing...
Pam was the only sibling that I recall that played on a t-ball team
I thought that was pretty cool too
Pam was very smart as a child
And she knew she was smart as a teenager
And she definitely knows she is smart as an adult
Just kidding...
But really, she is a very smart individual
She is one of those people that knows quite a lot about everything
And she knows how to defend her beliefs
Pam is very confident
She can also be stubborn
But, aren't we all
Pam was the only sibling to enlist in the Navy
She carried on the military tradition
She got to travel the world
She made Dad proud
Pam is willing to try new things
She is not afraid of hard work
When I grow up, I want to have a work ethic like Pam's
I love you little sis

Wow, Beth! You made me cry! I love you, big sis. Thanks for being a part of my life. And you know what? I've always been envious of YOUR hair. Especially when I got to crimp it for you in the mornings before school. Remember that? I was the only one willing to wake up 2 hours early to do it for you. I'm not sure if it actually looked good or not....but it was fun waking up with you and helping you out. Sometimes I still wish that my hair was just a little bit thinner or finer...like yours!

You're right about not wanting to be a twin all the time. It was hard never having my own identity. People would call up wanting to talk to "Penny/Pam" and it didn't matter which one they talked to. Didn't they know that we were different people? ;) But, these days, I like being a twin. It actually makes me feel special, which it did the exact opposite before. Maybe its because I feel like I can be myself, and be a twin at the same time. No one mistakes me and Penny anymore! :P

Oh, and by the way, I AM smart. hehehe

Just kidding. {Not really :}

Thanks for writing about your sisters, Beth. This is such a neat idea. You come up with lots of those. Like chocolates for Christmas. Yummmmmm.....is it Christmas time yet? :)

Love ya!
