This isn't the shortest video ever, but it will allow all of you to listen to what Benjamin played at his piano recital last night. He did a very good job, if I do say so myself. He was the first one up there, which was good because I don't think he could have waited too long for all of the excitement he was exhibiting. Needless to say we are two proud parents!
And also for your viewing pleasure, here is Chad and I on the day of his defense. For those of you that don't know, and as a refresher for those of you that do, Chad had his defense of his dissertation last Tuesday. He did such a great job. He was most definitely prepared for just about any and all questions they threw at him. And he passed!!!! So, after he finishes one last seminar class in the spring and getting some signatures, it will be official. My sweetheart will be DR. CHAD POPE. Oh happy day!

amazing! ben did such an awesome job. what a big boy he is! i can't believe how well he played, not that he is incapable---the fact that he knows how to play the piano rocks! such a big little boy! seriously!
